Quentin Monnet

Welcome

I work for Isovalent, on Cilium. I maintain bpftool. Welcome to my web page.

I’m passionate about computers, research, and free software; more generally, I am curious about everything related to new technologies. I have been developing skills in network and security fields.

I defended my PhD thesis in computer science in 2015, then I joined the R&D team of 6WIND company, where I worked on solutions for very fast packet processing in network equipment. In 2017 I changed for Netronome, another company working on similar problematics but designing hardware network flow processors. Since 2020 I’ve been working at Isovalent, on Cilium’s eBPF datapath to provide networking, observability, and security in cloud-native environments.
